Faux gas cap?

I think the less stickers the better. I like the rear gas cap on my 70 because it works and I can pull up on the passenger or drivers side at a gas station. When I get a new one I think that would be the first thing Ill take off.

I'm kinda surprised they didn't do a embossing of say 1" indent around both the GT and Pony....would have giving back panel more class rather then just a stuck on emblem.

I agree. Everybody should get the pony, and if it's a GT, SVT, California Special, whatever, have a smaller emblem on the lower right. Maybe make that emblem a decal so somebody can peel it off if they don't like it.

After seeing Photoshop pictures, I think it looks better with nothing on the rear decklid.

It would look good with leaving the panel blank. Painting the panel the color of the car would look the best.

Also I like the Faux gas cap on my 06 GT but it's time to move on from that and do something different. And the pony fits the bill.

Why not just do bright chrome pony on the base car and dark chrome on the GT? No additional badges, just a badge that looks more sinister on the faster car.

GT or 5.0 . I never have been a fan of that mule emblem. The pony wheels on the Foxes are the only exception.

I really like the GT badge as is, more than the pony on the base engines. was 100% in favor of deleting the fake gas cap. the new "GT" is simple, elegant, and effective in my opinion

would love for the new GT350 or 500 or whatever they call it to just have "SVT"
