This concept car has some lines our Stangs could use!
Definately getting there TN, excellent work. I like the bigger lights, a lot, the just need to be a little more horizontal, less upswept (in my view).
I also really like the bigger grille from your sketch. My theory? Ford introducted the bigger GT500-alike grille on the '13 to get us ready for a big grille on the '15. Of course, I'm probably way off base

Some people are complaining about the new "fish mouth look". It seems people forget the classic Mustangs from 67-69 have this same large open mouth look and trapezoidal shape for the grille opening which evolved from the smaller 65-66 look. One look at the 1968 Shelby GT500 shows the same look exaggerated more while the front edge of the hood was set back into the nose panel.

The Evos nose to me looks like an nice evolution of the Mustang's 10-13 nose putting the open mouth grille thrusted forward without the interruption of using a park bench front bumper like the current models. The Mustang's current fender peaks are also more aggressively translated in the Evos design. Slimmer headlamps of the Evos help make it look forward and modern looking.

Actually that looks nothing like 79-86 style to me. I can't imagine what makes a person think it does.. The only thing I see is retro 1970 styled forward thrusting front side marker lamps.
Anyway, it looks cleaner with the marker lamps where they were in the lower sides of the fascia.

I agree completely.
I personally would not be surprised to find, in retrospect, that the EVOS was influenced by the 2015 Mustang and not the other way around.

It's the same as when people believed the 1993 Mustang Mach III show car influenced the production 1994 Mustang when it was in fact the other way around. The production design was already done. All they did was create an exaggerated concept based on the production car which was used to generate excitement and preview styling of the production model.
The 2015 Mustang is only a year and ten months away if they plan to introduce it on April 17, 2014.

I know all about the guppy/whaleshark mouth grill. My 11 Shelby had it. And I can see the evolution of it in the EVOs concept. I just prefer it to be a little less on the exaggerated side. Although I am starting to warm up to Topnotch's chops. Who knows, by the time we see anything legit maybe I'll love it. In the meantime I need to pay off my truck... just in case.
Is there a way you could take that last gray concept and make it a set of three amber lights separated to the side of the headlights. I like the way it has it but having three would be a nice throw back to the 99-04. Of course they would have to flow with the headlight lines.
Only thing I'm really hating is as full fastback. Adds too much visual weight over rear. Best roof lines were 65-68 and current. A Modern interpretation of that would help swing my completely over to the chops I've been seeing.
