Clutch feel in 2019

Has anybody kept the stock clutch assist spring on their cars? I must have stalled at least 3 times on my way home from the dealership yesterday because the stock clutch has NO feel whatsoever. There was no way to tell when the clutch was engaging, It felt more like pressing the gas pedal. I switched the spring out for a Steeda spring and spring perch and it's a night and day difference. It's a mod I highly recommend.

I had a 2018 Mustang GT 6 speed last spring and found the engagement of the clutch was perfect.

I agree, I drove two manual GTs before purchasing and they were both very hard to modulate the engagement. When I took delivery of my ‘19 Bullitt it was better than the previous GTs but still didn’t feel right. I didn’t mind the light pressure pressing down on the pedal but the pressure coming back up at you was the issue. I felt like I was getting used to it but I still always had trouble with the 1-2 shift engagement if I was accelerating aggressively at all.

Installed the Steeda spring and perch last weekend and it’s like you said, night and day difference. This is a MUST do mod for these manual cars!
