California Builder Shoots for Ultimate Mustang Mod

In case you didn’t know, there’s no limit to how far some folks will go to beef up the S550.
Sure, we’ve covered more than a few here at The Mustang Source that speak to this fact. But this one, touted by Mustang 360 as “Hell on Wheels,” might be one of the best examples we’ve come across in months.
This blue winged beast was modified by Sam Soto under his California-based aftermarket company Stage 3 Performance. His goal? Creating the “ultimate build.”
Whether or not Soto pulled it off might be a matter of personal opinion. But the car clearly pushes the envelope on the S550 in a way that makes the latest Mustang even more appealing for hardcore performance buffs.
Key mods include a 720-HP supercharged V8, an adjustable suspension system, and a set of Triumph CY.X forged three-piece wheels wrapped in Toyo tires. Oh, and let’s not forget the APR GT-series carbon fiber wing and special Deep Impact Blue exterior.
