Boss and Mach 1 2015-2016...
So I was at more ford dealership Friday getting my oil changed for the first time on my 14 gt. I was talking to the salesman that sold me my car and he told me he didn't have any information on the new gt350 or cobra or terminator that may be coming out. But he confirmed to me they was bring back the Boss and The Mach 1. I don't know if you all already know this or not but he said it was a fact and not just a gossip thing.

I've heard Mach possibly but nothing about a Boss. The GT350 seems the most plausible. A Cobra is also pretty far fetched at this point and a Mustang actually called Terminator is so far out in left field you measure it in parsecs.

Parsecs is a measurement of time, ask Han Solo

you know how many things companies trademark just so no one else does? it means very little that they did this.

My guess, a GT350 will supplant both the Boss and GT500 in the current cars model lineup, sort of residing between these two models in terms of focus and performance.
A Mach I is a real possibility for those who want more of a flashier street/strip oriented Mustang with the glitz troweled on thick and heavy.
What I would like to see: a Bullett model with much of the GT350's performance goodies but in a refined and understated package -- a thinking man's pony car if you will to go up against the M4 in performance, taste and refinement.

Salespeople who do this crap really really bug me!!! They make them out to be "in the know" and they don't know ANYTHING!!! Some salepeople I guess, just like making stuff up, even if its so far wrong and make them out to look stupid. I NEVER do that, and never will. Only say things that I can prove with FACT.
Yes, the GT350 is the SVT that is coming out, per all the magazines (good sources). They did renew their trademark for Mach1 (remember the GT40 incident?). Ford has to renew all their past names if they plan on keeping them, even if they won't use them. Ford didn't do that for the "GT40" name, and it was taken by Safir Engineering, and Ford was planning on calling the "GT", the GT40, but to do that, Safir wanted something like $40 Million to use it on the production car (they were allowed to call the Concept the GT40) Ford said forget it and called it the "GT". So that's why they renew it. I do think they will come out with another special edition to go between the GT and SVT model. We can all hope.

I just posted this to see if there was any information on this or if anyone could confirm this. He seemed pretty serious when he said this to me like it was 100% fact. But yeah I'll believe it when I could order them...
