Anyone going to retrofit the centre stack guages?

Soo,

How many of you have bought the new Mustang without the center guages? And if so, are you already looking at how to retrofit them to your car?

Does the retrofitting begin for the 2015s?

BTW - if it were me, hell yes I'd already be looking into how to retrofit those guages!

I'd wait till its boosted or sprayed. Already get those gauges in the dash screen, its vacuum and oil temp I think. Would be cool to use it as a boost gauge or nitrous bottle pressure gauge.

When I drove a gt premium, the vents looked similar in construction to the vents in my 11 f150 and 08 gtcs, so I'm guessing the roush vent adapters will work

I like the clean look of just the vents. Although, 3 vents in the center looks like its a bit much. Might be different in person.

I was wondering if there will be a kit to install one of those Kenwood head units with the iDataLink Maestro setup that will allow you to have gauges running on the screen. That's the way I'd like to go even if I keep my 2014.

There must be a interior design person at Ford who likes big vents. I would rather have four gauges and just two small vents that are not so conspicuous. Ford is missing a real good design opportunity to make the center of the dash look more racing inspired.

That's a pretty good idea. I'd never thought of a retrofit like that.

The gauges look good up there and are pretty functional. They are in line of sight too, where you don't have to take your eyes that far off the road.

You could put one or two of these in there and find out everything that you'd want to know about your car:

Just a thought.

I don't care about the extra gauges but I think it's a shame you can only get the pretty machine-turned aluminum dash face with the Performance Package. I haven't seen it in person but it sure looks nice in pictures.
