Will it really be $25k faster than a GT? If not, IMO, waste of $$..

Well hello. At that price they can keep the thing.

Even this will be more than I would go.

Absolutely. I would just as soon get a GT, and enjoy the power of the 5.0. Let's face it, if you're not going to track the car who needs that much power. Can't use it on the street. You can't even use the power of the 5.0 on the street these days. To dayum much traffic everywhere.

Couldn't agree more Jim, and if were looking at 70-80k for the GT350 after ADM.. Just imagine what the next GT500 will end up ? Perhaps up to 90-100k

I'd guess low 50s. I agree with the 51-52 base + options

The whole shebang with the Boss was to keep the price low for the performance and they've said they want to repeat that.

Push it too high over 55 and they know there's too much competition for dollars from other marques.

That's logical Eric. Hopefully Ford understands this.

2015 Ford Mustang GT interior more expensive than the GT350???

Why is the 2015 Ford Mustang GT interior seemed to be more richer and more expensive than the 2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 interior? The interior looks cheap on the 2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350. I hope this is the base model of the 2016 Ford Mustang GT350, and the cheaper version. I'm a little worried... if this is what Ford is just offering and that's it. Anybody know for sure?

This is just a guess on my part, but the GT350 at this point is just a pre-production model, so perhaps that could be why the interior isn't as refined compared to the actual 2015 production models

If it's 50k, that interior is fine, the 2015 upgrades plus a couple touches don't take focus off the goal . If it's 60k, they better step it up.

Sorry, but I don't see any glaring differences. The seats on the Shelby appear to be cloth or suede vs. leather on the GT, but I think that's neither good or bad. A lot of folks prefer suede. And in my opinion, the flat bottom steering wheel on the GT350 would be desirable.

The only differences I see are the touch screen, manual/auto, seats/wheel, pic angel, and lighting. I think most of it has to do with the actual photo quality than the quality of the interior.

I'm guessing he's referring to the non My Ford Touch screen. Apparently the GT350 will come standard with the base radio, with the touchscreen optional in the Tech Package, just as the GT500 has been since 2007...

The bright trim pieces were taken out of the interior to cut down on glare according to what Ford folks said. For a track-focused car, minimizing glare is a good thing.

I beginning to think I'll just sit down with an order form, and build a GT the way I want. I don't plan on tracking the car, and the little things like leather, nav., etc. would make this old man just as happy.

I saw it on Instagram yesterday but didn't see it on any of the usual sources. If so, right in line with what I was thinking. Now I just need to know if it'll be available with a Glass a Roof next year!
