Same here Lee I drove my Boss to the dealership with my daughters to test drive the new EB '15 but the salesman still came along! The salesman said before we got in that maybe the girls should wait at the dealership while we test drive! I told him they're going along or we aren't going! We all went! :-)

I've put car seats into cars for test drives
My kids go with me from 0-18
I would have been like slow your roll Chester Molester
They wouldn't even let me test drive my BOSS, they said if you want it sign here, if not someone else is waiting to fill the seat. They assured me however it would spank my Corvette trade both in acceleration and handling. They were right on both counts, plus a $5K discount and $18K trade on the '04 'Vette. Test ride, or no test drive, it was a no-brainer!
There is no way I'm buying a car and not test driving it first. For example, last year I test drove a new 2013 Challenger R/T. The car had a vibration in the front end. It might have been something minor or something more serious but I don't like buying things that have problems right off the bat.
Here in MO, it depends on what vehicle it is whether or not they let you test drive alone. I'm 47 years old and I didn't get to drive the Challengers or Mustang by myself. Had to have a salesman in every case.
