Aftermarket 2016 EcoBoost Exhaust?
Greetings,
My wife loves her 2016 ecoboost convertible. First, we know it will never sound like a GT. We don't want/need it to, but it would be nice to have a little more sound.
Is there an aftermarket exhaust for the ecoboost that will give it a little throaty growl? Like a small GT?
Thank you.

We have a nice selection here - I will have to confirm with our purchasing dept. but these should fit the 2016 too, I have not heard other wise:

I am happy to put you in contact with a member of our exhaust team who has more experience with the sound you are looking to achieve with your 2016. I can see if we have any videos of exhausts we have done on the EcoBoost.
You can reach me at tim@steeda.com & I can send your information over to our team for immediate follow-up.
Best Regards,
TJ

I cut off the stock mufflers and installed Magna Flow mufflers and cut out the resonator and replaced with a straight piece of pipe.
A little more sound at idle no louder than stock when cruising and speaks up with a nice note when you get on it. For me as a daily driver it is perfect. Plus it cost me less than $200 to do it. A complete cat back from Magna Flow is about $1000.

IIRC it has to do with how the brackets and hangers have to work around the extra chassis stiffening that the convertables require.
