I think the modern front end could be the deal breaker for many people. I like it but I prefer the 10-12 front end. I'm wondering if this is a bit of a risk for the car. If it isn't popular maybe we will see a quick refresh like we did with the 2010-12 rear being so short lived. I feel that the 2013 refresh was more about the displeasure of the 2010-12 rear than anything else. Before 2010-12 owners cuss me out I'm just pointing out that that was the most controversial change to the car at the time. I don't mind it myself, though I prefer the rear of the 2013, but the front of the 2012.

I think they should try to use round headlights, that was such a cool change in 2005. I think the Aston Martin grille can work but put the pony in the corral like the 1999-04 car and once again add the round headlights.

Hang on. Did I miss something? Has the '15 been revealed?

Lets see the real thing before we dismiss it.

Don't get me wrong. I'm a big fan of the blunt/shark nose look since '05, but I'll wait 'til I see the real thing before dismissing it

it seems like a lot of the Corvette people liked that rendering too over at their forums.

There does seem to be quite a bit of conflicting information about what the car will look like though. The person who claimed to be at the market research event stated that it looks like other renderings that look more like the current model. I wonder where Car And Driver got their rendering influenced from? A hunch (that I'm pulling out of my butt lol) tells me it's going to look more like that car though then the more retro style renderings.

Need to buy Car and Driver!!

The 2011 and 12 rear is awesome. Great looking but opinions are like rectums, everybody has one.

+1, except 'i still mind' a bit, the 10-12 rear never grew on me at all, but I also liked the 10-12 nose a lot better than the 13... the 13 front end has grown on me enough I dont dislike it.

a 11-12 5.0 with 13 rear bumper/lights- yeah I'd not nit-pic that combo at all...everyone has their favorites, looks-wise, the 69 and 05-09 are still mine, inferior power and all, but a 11-12 nose with a 13 rear and 5.0/6 speed would be a pretty darn perfect car- in my lowly opinion of course

I hope the 15 dont lose the flat nose, but think its already gone...

Good to see you back on track Jason. I'm in the market for a '15 and really excited to see what changes Ford has done to our favorite pony. If we can start to see some camo's....

After re-reading and giving it more thought, I'm fairly certain these guys saw the car. I think the lack of a definitive description made it seem questionable, but given the context of their view, it may have been hard to study things and provide points of reference. If these guys aren't big followers of auto news and don't pay attention to a lot of cars, they don't have the sufficient basis to relate to describe what they saw.

That said, I think I'm getting a '14.

Eh, call it what you want. I like the current car enough, the handling is more than capable for my use, and I don't mind the interior, especially with the nav. I just don't want to take a chance on a gussied up Fusion coupe, if that's what it ends up looking like.

Or, I've just seen/heard enough things I don't care for and am going with something I'll enjoy. I'll let you figure that one out

Like almost every new Mustang, the '15 may take time for us to love. Very often, I find it takes a while for all the details to sink and and become a whole.

The problem is, I have this idea of my perfect Mustang in my head and I can guarantee the '15 will look nothing like it, so almost anything is likely to be an initial disappointment.

Also, many cars, the Mustang specifically, come alive when given some subtle mods......bigger wheels and a lowering are a given for me. Even the current '13 needs that in order to gain a certain attitude becoming of a Mustang. Just my view, of course.

Either way, I'm looking forward to finally seeing this elusive beast

It amazes me how little changes like the 13 can make the car that much more better looking.
Everytime I see them now on the road...I really want a 13 boss

Yeah, I wasn't fond of the front of the 13 at first, but I didn't hate it either. The rear was fantastic, along with the minor changes inside. I still really enjoy the GT Track Pack cars in almost any color.

Dan, by that time I should be ready to buy another Mustang finally. If I don't care for the new sheetmetal (or if it's out of my price range), I call dibs on your car! You had the perfect color combo that I wanted, glass roof and tasteful mods that I would do. Please hold on to it for me!
