Ford finally released the numbers for the '18 GT:
460 HP, 420 ft-lbs of torque, and when equipped with the auto and Performance Pack, it's capable of sub-4.0-second 0-60 times!

Hey Gabe its a monster! I test drove one and they really get up and go for normally aspirated set up! Tons of low end TQ that you can feel in the seat of the pants! Press the throttle half way and hold it and the car slowly squats! I almost traded in my Ecoboost, but knew if I just get a turbo, I could beat one! Yeah the bottom line is its awesome! That's coming from MSP!

All the 2018 GT needs is a Vortech supetcharger!
Hey guys buy the Vortech V3 intercooled kit for a very inexpensive $6500, and get to 650+whp at 7.5psi!
The centrifugal superchargers are better than turbos because 1 they are lighter, 2 easier to install, and 3 keep combustion chamber temps cooler than turbos!

Yeah the one I was looking at was $36000!! You got a very good deal! I'm happy for you! Get the Vortech when you could afford it! The engine you have has been bored out! Its not the same coyote as 2017! It's a completely revamped engine with upgr as fed camshafts, bigger cylinder bore, bigger pistons! Ford pulled out all the stops for the 18 GT Coyote! Congrats man! Ever need anything hit me up!

Grab a Vortech and get stupid ridiculous power out of that revamped Coyote!
Take pride in your car, and your car will take pride in you! Also never back down, if you know what I mean!!

Unfortunately its true!
Its true guys, MSP is choosing a new Nissan GTR over a new GT500! I went to put a deposit down on a new 2019 GT500 and they said that the GT500 is going to sell for $149,000 bucks! I could get a new GTR for $110,000 out the door! When I get it I'll post pics! I'm not trading in my Ecoboost so don't worry!

Yeah your in good shape, 460HP is 391whp without a tune on 87 octane! Put on premium and you will be right at 400whp stock without a tune! Get a tune and get 430 to 440whp!

When you get a chance can you do me a favor? Go into Track Apps and do a 0 to 100mph run, and tell me how long it takes! My car at 20psi runs a 14.3! A little slow but I'm stock accept for the increased 22psi which I have not timed yet! A Dodge Challenger runs a 12.5 second 0 to 100mph and they weigh 4500lbs!
If you need help navigating Track Apps let me know!

[QUOTE=msp.ecoboost;7027451]Sounds good! 400whp is a lot of power so make sure you use traction control in Rainey weather! Turn it off when you want to launch!

I will see if I can find a safe place to do a timed run to 100. The car only has just over 500 miles so may want to give it a few more break in miles. Not that I have been babying the engine!!

Don't worry about the break in period! The computer will protect the motor! Also redlining the engine is good to do during breakin so the piston rings seat properly! I drove my car in 3rd gear at 75mph at 5000rpm for 150 miles when I went to Sacramento Raceway! I also took my car to 145mph the 2nd day I had it!
Just go to a freeway on ramp and w make sure the coast is clear, l! Turn off Traction Control rev it to 3500rpm and the dump the clutch! Make sure you bang 2nd gear really hard to get through the 60ft as fast as you can! Typically the top of 2nd is 60mph!
Good luck! You better beat that Challenger! LOL!

The suspense is killing me!! I sure hope everything is OK! I'm hoping for a 10.5 seconds to 11.5seconds! Hopefully 2018GT is on his game!
Bang 2nd gear and then float it to 3rd! Shift at 80mph and then nail 4th and make that 460HP prove its worth!
Your making me nervous 2018GT! Make sure you post the results no matter the result! Take your phone and take a picture of the dash showing the time! Thanks!

I had time this early afternoon to do a few timed runs. Only 30 degrees hear today. New asphalt state road. I am by no means a expert driver for this type of timed runs. Best I could do so far 0-30 2.3 seconds. 0-60 4.9 seconds. 0-100 11.00 seconds flat. I believe with more practice with the car I would be able to shave a few tenths off these times. Not making excuses just explaining my honest results.

I might just trade in my Camaro for an 18GT! I'm getting a GTR for myself, and the 18GT will be for my Son!
Congratulations Ford! You beat the Challengers 12.5 second 0 to 100mph, thanks to a man called 2018GT!

I'm always worried when I get a new vehicle about not screwing up the break in period. I think this time with my 2019 GT Premium I'm just going to drive it as usual (like I stole it!) and just keep the RPM's varied by not using cruise control for the first 500-1000 miles. Other than that every stop light will be a chance to improve my 0-60 times!
