Does anybody know when the 2016 will start production?

 

It is supposed to have started last week.

 

Yep, they've started rollin'. Here's a 16MY California Special at Flat Rock

 

Are they the same as the 2015 or did they change things?

 

Pretty much the same.........just a few new options such as the Cali Special and "Black out" packages.

You can also get a black painted roof now.

 

The Sync system is a completely different, from the ground up, system. It even uses such different hardware that older cars cannot be upgraded to it. I'm really looking forward to seeing more on that as the little I have seen makes it look really promising.

 

Wow ! The California Special looks amazing. It looks like the California Special has come a long way. I never cared much for California Specials in the past.

 

Of course, I forgot about Sync 3

 

Ordered mine 8/3/15! Still waiting on a VIN so I can track it! I am excited about the new SYNC 3! I still wish they had the glass roof option...one thing I'm going to miss A LOT!

 

I am also awaiting a VIN so I can hopefully be able to track my Competition Orange GT premium with performance package. I placed my order on 7/26.

 

Thanks for all the responses, I ordered my 16 on June 12. Going to dealership tomorrow to see if they can give my a vin yet. When I do get it is there a website to go to that I can track it? Any in info is appreciated.

Just got an update from Deysha! Looks like it has been in production and is scheduled to finish building today! Also it should arrive at the dealer by 9/12/15 (estimated). I ordered it on 8/3 so doesn't seem too bad!

 

May I ask how much you paid? Did you receive any deals at all? I'm looking at a 2016 CS.
