I would not read much into this as this is just a functional mule with a few Fusion parts stuck in the current Mustang interior for testing upgraded sytems that will eventually be tailored, styled and integrated into the actual 2015 design..

Not a fan of the interior. Looks like it should be in the F150 or explorer. But a 6500 redline... Seems like the ecoboost to me.

I'd withhold final judgement of the interior just yet as it is a clumsy mixture of a few new bits essentially duct-taped to the stripped out shell of the current interior, so it would be hard to judge how the final design will turn out and cohere.
That all said, obviously a very different and far more current center stack, if awkwardly placed in the prototype. Might get some vague indication of where the final design might be going though, and the shape of the edges of the center stack might also give some indication of the shaping of the rest of the dash, but hard to say though (will it actually be much more angled or fairly upright as shown?). I'm a little surprised the screen isn't a bit bigger, more fully filling the area between all the buttons.
What about the steering wheel? Might that be some indicatation or even close to what the actual wheel will be? My thought would be yes as they will need to integrate the steering wheel controls with the center stack electronics. Also, if not, then why not go the easier expedient of using the current wheel along with the rest of the interior shell?
What about the tach? That seems different than the current one, less retro in the font to be sure.
Overall, expect a far more modern interior, if still with some Mustang DNA, than the current rendition.
Then the other two pics under the rear. Quite obviously an IRS, which is a big "duh" at this point. Some indications of the final design/geometery, which kind of reminds me of either an E46 or even E90 BMW, which ought not to be surprising as the 3 Series / M3 is an obvious benchmark. Much aluminum though there does seem to be a trailing/diagonal link in stamped steel perhaps, but hard to say/see, really.

I know when Car and Driver tried to put the engine from a Mazdaspeed 3 into a Mazda 5, the engine would not start unless its computer was tied to the original gauges from the Mazdaspeed 3. If that is a similar situation here they may be testing out a different engine and instead of going through a lot of effort to rewrite the code to make it work with the Mustang gauges they just screwed in a set of gauges already setup to work with the engine. And therefore these gauges have absolutely nothing to do with what will eventually go into the new Mustang. Considering how integrated Ford's new cars are, it could be the same case with the steering wheel and the center stack.

While this center stack shown probably isn't the one that will end up being used, I do hope that the navigation screen is mounted high, like in this mule. You have to take your eyes fairly far from the road when the nav screen is mounted lower.

I wouldn't pay any mind to that interior. It looks like pieces from the for parts bin. You can see cutouts where they just screwed in buttons. Look at the kick panel trim on the passenger side. It lines up with nothing.

It should also be noted that the underbody pictures are NOT from the silver car, they are a reposting of the black car's pics that came out a couple of weeks back. Note the tires are Goodyears, and not the Pirelli's seen on the silver car.
I hope the AC is still working in some form, it must suck to have to drive that mule in the heat of the day without any dash vents.

Good to see some more spyshots
Personally, I very much doubt that will be the look of the '15 Mustang interior......far too early for Ford to let slip what that's going to look like. I suspect it's just easier for them to lift the Fusion centre stack/dials and we can assume the '15 will use all of that tech, just in a different package.
I also hope the steering wheel maintains a round boss. For me, all sports cars/sports saloons should have a round boss, so an evolution of the current wheel would work for me.
