2015 Race Carbon Fiber Body parts
Hey guys,
Just thought I'd pass along this info if anyone is looking for carbon fiber doors for their 2015 race car. These doors are a dry lay-up autoclave door with added structure on the main panels. Every door will be consistent and strong. Stock gutted metal doors weighed 44 lbs. These carbon doors weigh under 8 lbs. They accept the stock door handle and door hinges. You could even put weather stripping if you wanted.
I'm also getting molds made for a decklid, the roof (A-pillar to half sail-panel and main roof structure) and eventually, a hood. The decklid should be available in the next month or so, but unsure about the roof and hood.
