Wow! A whole 14 miles from here! No wonder you picked 'The Pill' as your forum name! Most of the women I knew from Ellwood were eiither on the pill or just a pill themselves! No offence, but your styling of the Mustang is just too foriegn to be called a Mustang. The humped front fenders smack of Corvette and those fat slab-sided rear quarters just look nasty to me! I don't like my women or my cars with fat rear quarters if you know what I mean! But being from Ellwood, you got too used to seeing fat rear quarters all your life so now I understand! I hope you realize I'm joking around! Were you raised right in Ellwood?

Yes, but... I went to Riverside High. I went back and forth between Beaver and Lawrence County. I lived in Zelie and Evans City during the mid 90's.

My mother was a regular at Rudy's and the 6 Pack on 68 (Harley Girl) She passed on 2 December 2011.

My 2011 5.0 is being shipped back on the 26th, I want to do the back to the 50's at Cascade next year. I will keep in touch, I was there last year on leave...

That would be cool to see someone from the forum at Cascade Park. Do you go downtown on the Columbus Interbelt in New Castle too? They park on the interbelt for free but sometimes they might not. Depends who puts up a fuss about it. Last year they were at Lawrence Villiage plaza. Sorry to hear about your loss. How old was she?

The "insider" parts supplier thread on this page brings this Mad Max concept to mind:

If one is paying attention to that rendering it has cues from the 1970's Australian Falcon coupe which the original Mad Max car was based on. This has nothing to do with any Mustang.

In this context I like that rendering as a contemporary new Falcon Coupe. I like how the side window profile is shaped like the classic one as well as the honeycomb and louver treatment worked in between the taillamps. I also like the Mustang-like shape of the rear bumper worked in as related Ford styling DNA.

I really don't like that. The headlights are completely wrong following the typical budget design job you see in everything else.

That's a redesign of the Ford Reflex concept car from 2006. The Reflex was cool looking, but trying to make it into a Mustang does a disservice to the original Reflex design and to the Mustang.
