I think this is a great illustration of how the Ford Evos / Kinetic II design language can be applied to a Mustang.

I understand everyone in here is hanging on J. May's comment that the Evos styling would carry over, but c'mon people, stop making blatant Evos copies with running ponies on the grille! Most of them are far from what we could expect. Kill the retro, kill the heavy Evos influence, and try again please!

Well, if you look at the Evos, I could almost believe that Ford had the 2015 Mustang very much in mind when they penned it. The Evos styling elements already reflect the Mustang design DNA and would thus be an easy evolution to the 2015 Mustang.

My prediction is that the NextStang will indeed clearly reflect the Evos concept design language with perhaps a deeper/larger front gill, longer hood, some sort of "C" scallop on the side and a modern interpretation of the tri tail lights. Make no mistake though, it will be very modern beyond some requisite Mustang DNA elements, not retro.

I'm glad you two aren't part of Ford's design staff.

Well, it's just a concept, but even so, it's a bit much to my eye...

Am I the only one that doesn't like that "Mach 5" concept?
