Just ordered mine!

Just got back from my dealership. My local dealerships(4) have limited stock of GT's, so I had them order one for me.

GT Premium Fastback, Magnetic

Auto....lame left knee!
20x9 Foundry Black Painted Machined #649
Premier Trim w/Color Accent #68B

They're saying 4-6 weeks. We'll see. Cant wait!

That's it. Simple ride for a simple guy.

Oh, one more thing. MSRP came out to $40,010. They gave me a price of $38,019 without really talking price. I told them I'm a member of MCA which has Xplan pricing benefits. My salesperson couldn't find it on their list. Gonna talk to someone up on their flagpole about that one Monday.

They shouldn't need to find MCA on their list, if that's what you mean. If he couldn't find X-plan... maybe they don't participate in it. I'm not sure if all dealerships do...?

My salesman told me the price I was getting should be better than x-plan, but agreed that I should bring in my PIN at delivery just incase to compare and make sure I get the better deal.

Ordered my GT Premium on 2/7 and can not wait to take delivery.

Competition Orange
401A
GT Performance Package
Navigation
6-8 week delivery time given.

Already ordering goodies to install as soon as I get it home and into the garage which are slowly arriving just to make me more eager to take delivery. I hope it ends up being closer to 6 weeks than the 8.

My new "baby" is only 5 hours away from me!

But it has been for 5 days now!!

Sssssoooooo frustrating! I could have drove down, w/ an enclosed car hauler, and visited friends and then delivered my own car to the dealer so I could take ownership of it by now.

AAAHHHH!!!!

Please let it be on its way "home" today.

Cotus now says 7 days. It's close now. I'd actually be OK if it was delayed until that Friday or later. My schedule for the days leading up to Friday of next week is full. In any event, I went by and talked to my sales rep today. I was impressed, he had documented my requests on not installing the plate or doing anything to the vehicle. He's going to have them hold it and let me see it in its delivered condition before they do the inspection. I'm hoping to swing a work from home day with a trip to the dealer if it does come in on the estimated date. It would be easier to just let them hold it a few days though. That's going to be hard to do. I'm not really complaining. This job is the reason I can get this car.

I actually was in a similar situation. They gave me an X-Plan amount discount (roughly $1800) and then instead of saving on the dock fee, they offered me my $500 new college grad rebate AND another $500 rebate. Hope it works out for you!

That's fine. It works out better for me if it's a few days to a week later.

Ok, LinckG. I always stress how ETAs are always subject to change, because they always change.

I assumed it would change from the beginning. While I'm keeping track of the order and want to know when it will be here, I'm not in a hurry. I'll have this car for many years. A few weeks is nothing.

For those that feel impatient, just relax. You'll get it when it's time. This is the price for getting exactly what we want. Otherwise, we'd be taking delivery from dealer inventory. I was in the dealership yesterday and looked at several Mustang that were there while I waited on my rep. None of them made me feel impatient. Those aren't mine.
