Redline Tuning 21-11028-02 Mustang Hood Strut Kit Bolt-In 2015

In this video we are installing a set of Redling Tuning QuickLIFT PLUS hood struts on a 2015 Mustang GT. We were a little surprised when we looked under the hood of the new S550 Mustang and found a prop rod. Not only are these ugly to look at, but they often get in the way when working under the hood. Thankfully with the help of Redline Tuning, this can be a rather quick fix.

Installation is easy and only takes a few minutes, however, you will have to drill a small hole into the factory battery cover. Once installed though, say goodbye to the ugly factory prop rod and hello to a clean looking engine bay.

I love all these installation videos you guys have been putting up! Can't wait to start modding and this will be my first one. I had the Redlines on my '05 and I seem to remember the logo was a decal that was simple to remove. Are they still that way? I don't like logos.

On my 2014 it is just a sticker

 

If I remember right it is still a sticker. I will go and look at a set right now and confirm.

 

Ok it is a sticker but there is a small part that is printed on the strut, i.e. name and part number.
