Easy Gary. Either Ford would have never earned their business or they still will once they realize how much they over reacted. Just like a lot of the naysayers when Chaz's renders first came out.

There are some nice touches there, but I want to see it in person before I judge it too much. From the Pics though, I am very glad I went with my 2014. Not a big fan of the front. In the pictures it just does not look tough enough. I do think it looks a lot like the Fusion, and not a Mustang front. At first look the roof line reminded me of the 1996 Toyota Supra. But who knows, maybe it will grow on me.

Glad i waited for the actual unveiling before commenting. First, the leaked magazine pics a day or so prior were awful, I was bummed out. Feel better today, overall new stang is quite the looker and great evolution from the S197, well done Ford. Can't wait to see the specs and how it performs, should be really good.

Now the cons in my perspective: front is meh, not as brawny and exciting as the '05. the interior of the new stang is a MESS! too busy, too many buttons, too cluttered.

In the end not having a car payment, still loving my 2006, and next car will have to have 4dr's at minimum, will keep me away from the new stang.

Come on. Let's be honest. Look at the comments from the start. Feelings are mixed about this redesign. And ~40% of those who post here like their S197s better. I'm ok with the Fusion like look in the front, but the slanted tail is HORRID. If it wasn't for that I'd consider trading my 2014 for a 2015, but I park nose first in my garage and the rear end makes me cringe.

The more I see the more I love. I have seen comment about Ford is trying to please too many people and the are turning away from the Mustang core.

Well, sorry the Mustang is NOT a HALO car. It's sales were not where they needed to be so appealing to more people is very important to the survival of the Mustang. Also, the mustang was NEVER a HALO car. It's original sale were across many demographics.

This may spark a whole new generation of Mustang loyalist and in order to do that a few will be lost.

But, with the amount of Hype and secrecy that lead to this release, THERE IS NO WAY IN H&## that people were going to be blown away. The expectation had been driven to high.

I like the car, it is clean and simple like the original, and it looks like a complete seamless whole not an assemblage of stuff, which is what I think the 2013-2014 looks like.

The interior is growing on me as I read, hear and see more on it. The dark shots where it is lit up look really cool.

I think this looks FAR MORE MUSTANG and the FOX did.

Someone once told me it is OK to Look back but don't stare. This is the future. This is the new Mustang. If you don't like, don't buy it. but I think and hope this will launch a new surge in Mustang Sales.

It's funny, because I find the 05 front very boring. So it just goes to show that everyone sees something different.

I am not sure on the new design till I see it in person. Pictures never do the car justice. I do love the future tech, weight, engine options, and the performance though. All of that looks great on paper. I am little worried they are getting away from the 2005 look but it had to be done sooner or later. It cannot stay that way forever and I like what Ford is doing.

I agree, I hated the 05 when it first came out as I found the hood and front end to be boring as hell. When I finally got one and modded it a bit, LOVED IT! This car is by far the sexiest stang (in my opinion) than any since and maybe including the '69/'70.

It is good Ford is still producing 2014 Mustangs. For the people who prefer the 2014 Mustang, they still have time to purchase one. After a couple of years later, they can then trade in on a 2017 Mustang. They probably will be ready for a change by then and will want the newer Mustang.
I like the new 2015 Mustang design and will most likely order one in competition orange. If the Mustang looked like a turd, but had a nice interior and had a lot of power, I would still buy one.

A great car - Ford should have gone directly from '09 to this '15 re-design.

That interior and IRS though. I know this car will bury the S197 in every segment save looks.

You guys are hilarious. 95% of you saw the renderings and though that the fusion-esque fronts were butt ugly and didn't suit the car. Now that it came, and looks even worse, 99% of you want it!

RIP Mustang 1964-2014. 50 Years of greatness killed by copying other designs, even though you were original from the start. I'll start looking into the renderings for the next gen. The hell with this. I'll just look at the numbers when they are released. Camaro or FRS for new car? Nope. I'mma see what Dodge has in mind. Anything will be better than the 2015 I4 Turbo Fusion-coupe.

Obviously you were not talking about me because I have liked it since the renderings came out. The actual product that was revealed is awesome.

meh... bleh...not enough, muscle or beef to live up to the many years mustang muscle car heritage. Didn't have that draw droppping, oh **** that's a bad *** stang reaction I thought I would (like the new corvette or the z28 for that matter). we'll see what real thing looks like. Maybe if they bumped the gt closer to 450-500 might make up. but for now just looks feels like the 11-14 little shrimpy brother with a wannabe front snarl... I'm thinking the front end looks like an mad dolphin. Ford, why no iconic grill foglights on the GT????? Also the *** on the 15 sags and droops and looks flat, esp. rear side profile. I don't know, I feel my 13 GT is respected on the roads, its looks meanancing and mean and loud like any true iconic american muscle car should (ex. current stang, camaro, mopar, equuss boss)

you know the mustang isn't a muscle car right? pony car...

it looks the way it does because its now a global car and they are trying o make everyone happy around the world.. Not sure it will work but its better then those awful photo shop jobs we have been fighting over for 6 months.

Looks good except for the front. I really dont like the direction auto makers are taking. Their taking the porche route. Making multiple cars with the same design style. I think the fusion looks fantastic but I really didn't want that to transfer onto the new mustang.

By that logic.. anything with over 420+hp is considered a muscle car? I just don't see it...
