2015 Mustang Order Guide
2. There's the Shaker Pro audio, which is included on the premium trim order code.
3. Apparently not, at least at launch. This was confusing me as well, as the footnote for the 6-piston Brembos implies that it is.
This is making my mouth water, I think i'm ready to jump back into a Mustang!
Thinking a DIB or Black GT Premium with perf package would be nice.

I hope everyone who is looking to buy one with an automatic knows, Ford will be changing to 8 speed automatics at the end of the 2015 run or for the 2016 models. From what i've been reading....
Where are you reading this? Ford has never historically changed a major component, such as a transmission, during a model year run.

It might have been for the 2016 model that starts production near the end of 2015. Ford is doing the automatic with GM. I also just found out, Ford and GM design the transmission in our (wifes 2014) Ford Edge. (I haven't read or seen very many transmission problems in the Ford Edge.)

Imagine a 10speed auto...
It would sound like the video games where the car just keeps shifting over and over and over.
Well, the 8-speed auto in the latest BMWs gets rave reviews, with no complaints of constant shifting. It also gives those cars better acceleration, better fuel economy and lower emissions compared the the manual (the latter is very important here in the UK, as annual road fund licence (tax) is based on CO2 emissions). I hope the same can be said of the 10-speed if/when its available for Mustang
As for when? Well, as Overboost said, I would expect it to be made available at the start of a model year.
There will always be improvements year on year, but I wouldn't let than put me off buying a '15 now.
