2015 Mustang - No Thanks!
The more I look at the photos of the 2015 Mustang, the less I like it.
Oh, sure, it has a telescoping steering wheel, and IRS, but that's not enough to make me want it more than my beautiful 2012 GT.
Sorry, Ford. You've kind of screwed the pooch on this model.
I'm certain there are those out there who will disagree with my opinion, but that's how I feel right now. It may grow on me, but I don't think so.
I'd love to hear your opinion.

*This is going to be all over the place*
I think its growing on me. At first it looked all wrong, but now I kind of get it, or I think I do.. I like the front a lot and how it has an aggressive look. I love the new headlights and how modern and sleek they are. The body design is... different. The tail lights I absolutely hated. I thought I kind of saw the minimalistic futuristic design they are going for. But I feel its lost a lot of what the mustang is/was on the way there. I personally think the 2014 was the perfect model (probably because I own one) and the new one just doesn't scream mustang. Its too.. minimal and sleek. It looks too long and that interior... The interior is weird! The upgraded system w/ myfordtouch is great, but they tried to give it the family look way too much! Those door handles look like they are from the explorer along with the lock switch. That center console is a mess. I like thats its updated, but its cluttered. I think they should have retained the grille fog lights for the GT, they were almost signature. So in the end.. I'm confused. I feel they did some things right, some things wrong. Which is understandable with a new generation, but I don't know. I think it looks great at some angles, and just ok at others. I like the new seats and head unit in the interior, but not that dash.

Plenty of threads on this already.........in the 2015 section.
For what its worth, Ford will lose fans and Ford will gain fans. Personally, I love it and, with a few subtle mods, we can make it our own.
Looks are subjective, but a better riding, better handling, better built, more powerful Mustang gets my vote.

I remember anxiously waiting for the 2005 design to be revealed, and when I first saw the pictures on the Internet I was disappointed. Thought it looked funky. Over time, it grew on me, but I didn't really feel the love until I saw one in person. The actual car made all the difference. The cliché was right - pictures didn't do it justice.
Almost 10 years later, I still love the 2005 design, and every time I look at my car I think the lines are just right.
Fast forward 10 years, and I have the same anxiety for the 2015 - can't wait until it arrives. When I first saw the 2015 reveal photos last month, I felt the same disappointment as seeing the 2005 photos. But, just like then, the new design is already growing on me. The only thing left is seeing the car in person, and I think that is going to change a lot of minds.

My thoughts at 47 my 11 GT will probably be my last. The last 5.0 I bought was an 87 LX I bought new. I stayed away from them when they changed from that to the later fox body cars and became intrested when the retro cars came back. This latest rendition is geared to the younger crowd and away from people my age and older though I'm sure some older guys like it as nothing is 100%.
But it plane does not do it for me. They are using the same motor so if they up the horses I can just mod it and keep my better looking car. The only thing I might like is if they somehow upped the tech on the car. But not so much

Not a fan of the headlights or the tail lights. The side looks good and the grill/fog light lay out on the front look good.
The head lights look like they are more on the fender than the front. The rear lights just look cheap along with the entire panel between them. But it still looks tons better than the '14 Camaro, this coming from a long time GM guy!
