2015 Mustang on Motortrend WOT
Pretty good listen. Not much that we didn't know but some Easter eggs in there also. I would liked to have heard more on how they benchmarked the Mustang and how they are taking Camaro pretty much out of their sight.
Okay. I've warmed up to it. Every new generation has had some details that I love and others not so much. This new generation is no different. When considering the feats that this team had to overcome, I think they knocked it out of the park. I think seeing the fathers of the 2015 all gathered around, talking about how proud they are of their creation made it sink in for me.
Between them and J Mays, I could listen to them recite a phone book and they'd make it interesting.

Great video. You may not like this version of the Mustang, but it's clear the design team had a pretty focused vision for car and executed on that vision very well. Kudos. I'm getting sold on the 2015 more every day.

I can't imagine it wouldn't. That allows for a much tighter seal which helps keep the car quieter. People are used to quiet cars and equate it with quality. So unless they've come up with a clever new way, I'd expect the window drop to be there.
Again Thanks for posting this....I too am very pleased with the way the new 2015 Mustang looks. If you listened, when they were talking about going back an changing a few items, besides the front suspension, the major changes wee body oriented. They took a lot of the curve, rounded look away. That Ford new look front end and grill. As the original an subsequent test models all had that goofy look. I'm glade Ford listened, and you can bet they monitor these forums. I can't help but think everyone that opposed that awful look, and vocalize it, made a difference in the final outcome of the new car.
Also, the overall diminsions of the car are very close to the old version, not that 15" shorter stuff floating around the web. I think I can see my wife driving one f these new cars..
