2015 Mustang GT LE

Has anyone received their VIN on an LE edition? My brother has had one on order for quite awhile, and was told yesterday by a Ford rep that the LE editions have not only NOT been produced yet, but Ford is being quiet about them. Just checking to see if anyone on here has any more information.

Some people have their vins and cars built already. However I haven't seen any at dealers yet.

I just got a VIN on the 17th.
If the sequential number is correct I should have #775

2015s are all over San Antonio (a few with the 50yr package; haven't seen a true LE). Mac Haik's Southway Ford website is showing a $4000 premium on everything.... even the V6 base.

Couple other area dealers are already showing discounts. Most are showing MSRP.

I ordered my LE on 6/14, still have no vin or any other info as to what to expect for a build date. Maybe I'll know something by 2016.

This sure looks like a proper 50th Anniversary LE to me. I doubt the 50th Anniversary Package gets that kinda treatment.

We have 2 LE's coming to our store in each color. Our Wimbledon White one's invoice was prepared on 10/9/14, and is showing as still at the plant. I think we also have the VIN on our blue one, but that's not showing up on the basic sales vehicle locate that I have access to - I don't have the same access to build dates, etc. that my inventory mgr has, so I have to check in with him on specific vehicles.

Most of the LE's were pre sold, doubt they will sit on a dealers lot very long.

It really depends tbh. Many dealers have chosen to be greedy f**** and charge anywhere from 20-50k over. If they ordered it, no doubt they'll be sitting for awhile in the showrooms.

Second thing, not all 1964 have been built.

They started producing the LE's in Sept.
I ordered my LE in May, VIN# in July, built 2 weeks ago. Awaiting shipping.
I have been tracking the LE's up to SN 671, approx 35% are customer orders, the remaining are dealer stock. Most are White with auto.

Should have my LE by 11/05

What , are you high? $20k-$50k over? In NM they are selling at MSRP.

Well, my friend gave up on waiting and got a Ruby Red/Ceramic GT yesterday. After talking to a rep at Ford, I was told that the LE has not been shipped, and Ford has not discussed anything in regards to them. Since all the dealers are getting Mustangs now, and plenty with the 50th Anniversary package, I don't think the LEs will really stand out in a crowd. Except for the color, quarter window, and chrome trim on the side windows, they don't have anything else to offer exterior wise. And the Ceramic looks almost white on the inside.

I have a VIN and ship date of yesterday, 11-3, but it didn't ship. Ford Customer Service says it is being held at the factory, for what they don't know! Mine was a dealer stock ordered in May and was built around 10-3. The dealer here is getting 5 LE's. Their first one was supposed to have shipped 2 weeks ago, but it didn't, and the TBD delivery status is "EXPIRED".
