Thank you for the superb photographs. I think DIB has definitely taken the Number 1 spot on my colour choice.

Man... they might want to work on the paint a bit before they take that one to shows... pic 12 really shows some scratches.

More I see this the more I don't like it. Definitely think the lost faux gas cap is a mistake. Are they maybe leave that on the non-GT models? If not, what are going to do there?

Honestly i hope the faux gas cap remains an option. But DIB and Black are the main two colors for me right now. I really like how black accents and vinyls would look on a white car this gen.

The Base and Eco Boost Models get the Pony on the Rear Deck and the GT Gets the GT Badge. I for One am So Glad they Ditched the Faux Gas Cap. When it was actually a Functional Gas Cap that was One Thing, but when there is a visible Fuel Door on the side of the car it just becomes Cliché. It relegates it to the category of those Horrible Dealer Installed Carriage Tops (Faux Convertible Top) that you always seem to see slapped on any model car, from Hyundai and Toyota, to Cadillac and Buick to Lure Old People to buy their cars.

On the subject of faux gas caps, has anyone heard of someone converting it to a fully functional one? Maybe the lil part with the pony on it flips out and theres the filler opening or make it unscrew like the originals? I think itd be a very i teresting build

I think it's up there for me too. I've always liked blue, but never really been enthralled by a blue car. This one, though. It's calling to me. The red doesn't do anything for me on this car, nor yellow. Magnetic and Guard look good, but I wish Guard was more green. This DIB just shows off the car's curves and makes it look very classy and sexy!

I've had a history of blue cars.....in fact I went through something like 6 blue cars in a row. All of my Ford Capris, bar one silver, where a shade of blue

I fell in love with DIB when I saw this, probably the first '13 I'd seen lowered and on different wheels. It was at the Fabulous Fords Forever show

Great pics, great color. My 2011 is Kona, so I was initially leaning against dib (been there done that), but I really really like all the pics I've seen of this car. I've never been more excited about a mustang.

No. First of all the Faux Gas Cap is attached to the Trunk Lid to achieve a Lower Liftover Height to Load Things in and out of the Trunk , as opposed to Classic Mustangs where the Functional Fuel Filler was Mounted to a Fixed Panel which made it Awkward to Load and Unload. The Main Reason Ford did away with the Rear Mounted Fuel Filler was because they moved the Fuel Tank to a Safer Location, which on Classic Mustangs also doubled as the Trunk Floor. Ford Moved the Fuel Tank for Safety Reasons because Cars Involved in Rear Impacts were having the Fuel Tank Rupture and Catching Fire. Most People remember this because of the Pinto Exploding during the 70's but the Mustang was almost as bad. So to answer your question, it would be ridiculous to route a Fuel Filler Tube from the Rear of the Car all the way to the area Under the Rear Seat on Current Cars, even if the Faux Cap wasn't mounted to the Trunk just to say it had a Functional Rear Gas Cap.

I'm not sure how you can compare the faux gas cap to a fake convertible top. The faux gas cap 'belongs' there just as much as the pony on the grille and any badging on the side. They're all non-functional, but clearly say 'Mustang'. But to each his/her own. I know a lot of people hate it. I've alredy said I'm not a big fan of the new design... but in all seriousness, if I was on the fence that little bit of lost 'history' might be enough to make me walk away.

Great pics! Daughter and I went to see the one in Omaha today. We wanted to like it, but not lovin' it. Won't give up on it without driving one, would not trade our '12 Boss (or a GT) for it as of now.

+1. It's the worst part of the current gen. Also The less faux chrome the better IMO.

Great pics! I was there today to drool over and admire it. I am Lovin the DIB but I think competition orange will have to be mine, then again I can't really make a decision til I see that in person as well. I was very happy seeing the car in person. I loved the pics online and seeing it there confirmed that I really do like this new style!

Is it just me or does anyone else think the 265/35/20 tire size is a bit strange? Aren't 265's only used on Porsche's and a couple other European cars? Wonder if that was done on purpose?

Yeah, otherwise known as the Pinto Inferno option.
