2015 Mustang coming December 5th!
I wasn't really getting into the newest release hype, but I'm starting to get into it now after seeing that. So...

There's a huge pony in the front grille that identifies the mustang, so why shouldn't there be one on the rear decklid as well.. As all first gen 65-73 mustangs had pony emblems on their gas caps, but they were much smaller.. All current V-6 models have also had them on their faux emblems since 2005

Yeah your right, I have never had a V6 so I tend to forget about them and my 05 had a center fog grill. I am stuck in GT mode I suppose and should have specified. I meant if they have to put a big pony on a GT or V8 car to let everybody know what it is.... And yes the cal spec had a small pony .
But IIRC I don't believe the California Special has a pony on the faux emblem as it has the letters C/S both above and below between the GT logo

i'm thinking deck lid/trunk lid aswell. now that Ford is taking the Mustang global, what better way to introduce the Running Pony Emblem to the new world audience. after all, isn't the back end of a Mustang the most viewed angle for the competition, ha!
