2015 Issues
And so it start's.....
Read this on another Car Forum (Non-Mustang). Posted by a guy who works for a supplier.....
" Ford has postponed the release of all 2015 Mustang convertibles due to not passing the front and side impact crash tests. They are also having trouble with air bag deployment. I make the windshields for this car, and FOMOCO has cancelled almost all orders for the windshields until further notice. I do not know the difference between the convertibles and hard-tops , I don't make those windshields."

Well if its recent news, better they get things right than flush a half baked car with crappy crash ratings out on the market. I'd rather Ford get it right rather than allow some buff rag the luxury of reporting on anything other than niggling little details.

Good point. It's just that the release is already so far away.. But, I guess I can wait for them to fix all the errors. Better to do that now then them have to deal with bad publicity.

Oh lord, here we go.
Ford has been under the microscope lately for launch issues. Hopefully there are lessons learned from these recent issues and they apply them going forward. With Mustang and F150 both being launched for the 2015MY, they are both high profile launches and need to be flawless.
Another example of doing it the right way is Chrysler with the new Cherokee. Instead of a half-baked launch, they've delayed it in the interest of making the product right the first time. Not the common choice, but I think it's the right one.
