11 Things you didnt know
There are some pretty cool things in this article. Espically about the Porsche and Boss 302. This was in the 2010-2014 section, sorry for the repost.

Measuring the 2015 mustang against the Porsche 911 and BMW M3 as aspiration goals makes me even more proud to be a loyal mustang fan! Saying it has the speed and quickness of the boss 302, impressive!
It isn't always the same but it has small elements. I think Ford was trying to be like the 911, especially in the rear of the car with how they see it moving forward. The 2015 isn't the be all end all but the first step in a long line of them. Porsche and BMW have excelled at the flared rear and I find it very appealing. BMW excels at being pedestrian and aggressive. Porsche has moved a long way from the original 911 but allows many cues to be expanded upon.
Now Ford is doing the same. With the Boss they proved they had the craft well enough to run with the drivers best friend. It wasn't about solid rear axles, it was for science.
I know a lot of people may balk at the comparisons but no one talks about the journey the car has taken and how or why it is where it is today.
11 things we didn't know?
For those of us obsessed with this car, and who follow every snippet of info, I think I can safely say all of this info has been in the public domain for a while
As for the 911 being inspiration, Dave Pericak stated it was initially used to benchmark the driving modes

hah the 2015 2.3L has 305 HP?
The new 2.3L LX notchback I drove off the lot summer of 87 had 88 lil ponies.
Sure hope this isn't a replay of the 80's Hope adding turbos goes better this time.
My LX is still a daily driver with 380,000 miles
I'd love to see the Mustang obtain near supercar handling at a fraction of the cost
of those high priced German cars, Ford can do it if they choose too.
