Warranty Questions for Deysha

I am about ready to purchase a 2014 Mustang V6 Ruby-Red Metallic Manual premium convertible with the pony package. My questions would be are dealerships required to offer the PremiumCare Warranty and/or the Dentcare or Triplecare Warranty. If not can I purchase them directly from Ford. The dealer I am going to says he has a 6 year - 72000 mile warranty. The PremiumCare is 6 yr 75000 Warranty.

My dealer offered both their in house warranty and the Ford warranty, the in house was less expensive and supposedly covers more items. I would have to believe that your dealer can offer the Ford warranty, if you ask, but the reason they don't up front is they make more money off the non Ford warranty. Also, I switched to the Ford extended maintenance plan as it was better than the non ford plan.

If you buy the Ford factory warranty, shop online. Try Zeiglers. You would be surprised at the markup on them. Also, if you call Zeiglers directly and talk to the warranty guy, he will give you a discount code that is worth a few hundred bucks. You can buy that Ford warranty right up until the 3/36 warranty ends.

Much cheaper to buy Ford extended warranty ONLINE ... avoid buying at selling dealer unless they agree to match online prices.

Hi, I also live in Florida and for some reason ford warranty falls under the states insurance codes. Purchasing out of state ford esp will not be honored in florida

Wow - that's a bummer. That plan will cost you about half of what a dealer would charge you if you got it through Zeigler. It's the same plan without the insane dealer mark up.

Hi pguilmette,

Welcome to the forum! Your dealer can offer you both, their aftermarket and our ESPs. You can check the coverages we have available here. Also, you can contact our ESP Sales Center at 1-888-252-3899 for more info.
