Warped A pillar cover

I had bought my car last May, one thing I noticed right away last night is the plastic cover on the driver side A pillar is bowed in the middle and protrudes slightly past the black windshield trim into the viewing area. I was wondering if this is something others have noticed. I'm sure the dealer would replace it but having a dealer do anything to a car makes me nervous. I guess Ill take a ride this morning and get it covered under warranty I'm sure ?

Hi rm2092,

I recommend you bring your vehicle in to your Ford dealer for diagnosis. Then, PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, and best daytime number so I can escalate this to the customer service manager for your area.

Why would you be nervous to have the dealer correct this? If they are bad with your car (??), find another dealer. Mine is great.

This is a no brainer. Either the cover is improperly installed (easy fix) or its warped and a new one can be ordered & installed. Either way, easy issue to address. A dealer can certainly handle that with excellent results.

Well I went to the dealer and they told me it would take two hours to get it looked at, after frustration with a two hour wait I said forget it. Anyways when I got home and looked closer at it I noticed that the pillar had popped out on the door trim side how the F did it do that happen I don't know. Anyways I popped that back in a wow its fixed now. I guess I should have looked at a bit closer but when I first noticed the warp it was at midnight and ran to the dealer first thing in the morning.
