Wet spot...cold tires.....bit of sand....several things can cause it. If it happens more often...have it looked at.

Ok thanks, just thought I'd ask as it seemed odd; never dealt with traction control as my 04 GT didn't have it.

Now that I think back my car did this a couple of times when it was new. The problem went away on it's own. 16K of beating on it and it shifts fine. I left the advancetrac on for about 4 months until I got used to the HP.

Well seems like i'm not the only one. I bet it was the bitter outside 25d temp the car had the first time. The tech was giving me the discussion about trans temp between autos n manuals. Whether its true or not, idk. I warmed it up for 2m thought i was good.

I would bet that the AdvanceTrac has something to do with it.

2013 gt manual track pack.
Hi steven46746,

I still recommend bringing your vehicle in to your Ford dealer and have them check it out. Then, PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, and best daytime number so I can escalate this to the customer service manager for your area.

Guess I'll be heading to the dealer Thursday, issue arose again tonight leaving work; the stability control light blinked again for about 5-10 secs while getting up to speed, under low acceleration. Felt like the front abs/brakes were tapping in and out, jerking the car. Car has almost 1200 miles on it.

Mind you this only seems to happen when I don't let the car warm up for a while, even still it's unacceptable.

Where the drivers rug is at is a stupid place. Need a stronger brace. I cant tell you how many countless times it comes up under my pedals. Not fun.

Steven, good luck.

Most floor mats or rugs snap in place and don't move.

Been reading up on this "advancetrac" issue on allfordmustangs.com, it seems quite a few people are having this happen. Whole car has a mind of its own at times.

It almost feels like its constantly going on and off. I know its based on the cars feel but today it was really dicey with the black ice this morning in nj. Maybe Ford should really look more into it or remove it all together. I am not mad but still frustrated over it.

'12 5.0 GT Premium, with Bama tunes/followed by custom on-dyno tune. My problem is when I am cruising at mid-range speeds (30-50mph) and wish to accelerate. If I "floor it" my engine revs to redline, and then sputters to approximately 1000-1500 rpm, tries to select a gear, and if I pump the throttle it eventually engages 3rd and then 2nd and after that I can accelerate. Makes life difficult and very dangerous too. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON RESOLVING THE ISSUE???

Go back to your tuners.....also....it is better if you start your own new post for new questions not pertaining to the original poster.
