Ford or the dealership telling you Ford denied? You can do a search on, #8 cylinder, here and see other peoples experience with the problem.

Well they would need proof to void warranty, either a print out of the ECU has been altered ( Which they can tell, when there's a serious issue, they are required to follow steps to check if there's been any tunes)
Or you have aftermarket CAIs etc

I popped my car with 7,000 miles with A/B's on the car at the time and I had to fight tooth and nail. I drove the car hard but not abusive. Anyway, new motor and 22,000 HARD miles later the car is running as strong as it did back then.

Do you know how to make them show me one was installed?

What was the first step you took after they first denied it?

This is going to sound dumb, but is your Mustang completely stock, or has it been altered or modded in any way shape or form (IE: tune, exhaust, stereo)?
