Reverse light/camera switch + hot trans = Fail?

I've noticed that on warmer days (it hasn't even hit the 80s here yet), when I put my car into reverse (MT-82), the reverse camera won't come on. I tested it, neither do the taillights. I have to wiggle the stick around in reverse or hold it to the side to trigger the switch. I only noticed it because the reverse camera wasn't coming on one day when I had to parallel park. Thankfully, I parallel parked my GTO almost every day I had it, and that has similar dimensions and rear visibility.

Has anyone else had this problem? I'm going to have the dealer look at it when I go in for my diff howl. Might just need to be screwed in a little more or something.

I order my 2014 GT manual with a rear camera. Let me know what you find out.

Haven't had that issue and I'm in Florida. It always hot. The sensor is IN the transmission I don't think you should have to wiggle it. But maybe just a loose connection? Check under the rubber shift boot.
