Rear defrost

How long does it take for your rear defrost to clear your window of any morning dew? Mine is taking forever, literally 20+ minutes. The front window and mirrors are clear within a couple of minutes. I've never been in a car that took so long so I'm starting to think there might be an issue.

I've only used it a few times but it doesn't seem to be taking any longer than any other car. Bring it in and have service check it out. Maybe a plug is loose?

I wouldn't know if mine was working except for the rain we had this weekend... I do garage it so I don't have that morning dew to deal with.

I don't think a plug is lose because it does work, it just takes an absurd amount of time.

I also found moisture on the inside of the rear window a couple days ago in the morning. Haven't seen it since but I'll keep an eye on it. I might have left the front defrost on but there was no moisture on the front window so I'm really not sure how it got back there.

Definitely make an appointment with your dealer, Rando. Then you can PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, and best daytime number so I can get it escalated to the Customer Service Manager for your area.
