Oxygen Sensor issues '14 GT

A couple weeks ago while driving home my check engine light came on and I noticed that my car was driving and idling rough, even shutting itself off at times. I plugged it in and got the code P0135 and after some research found out I needed to replace the o2 sensor which was bank 1 sensor 1 (I'm told is the passenger side sensor) bought a new one, replaced it. Now after clearing the codes I'm getting a new one. P2629 Pumping current trim circuit/open bank 2 sensor 1. And the CEL is back on. Has any one had this issue? Do I have the the passenger and driver side sensors backwards?

Don't you have any warranty left on your car? Bank 1 sensor 1 is the first sensor on the passenger side before the cat. The two pre-cat sensors should be the same. The after cat sensors will be different.

Yes I should be under warranty, but I have after market headers and xpipe , also a tune, voiding my warranty. And I've replaced that sensor, but I'm now getting a new code and that's the one I'm wondering about

Are you running o2 extensions by any chance? Which longtubes?

I'd double check the wiring for chafing/rub throughs/grounding. Re-check all wiring harness connectors.

It's possible the o2 sensor itself is defective or not working properly with that pump circuit malf. code.

Not sure how that would correlate to the bank and position differences you are describing though....

I eventually ended up having both sensors completely replaced.... Couldn't figure anything else out

It's going to happen again unfortunately due to the placement of the o2 sensors in the longtubes. Moisture gets trapped and causes the o2's to shatter. They're at the 3:00 and 9:00 position and need to be at the 10:00 and 2:00 position. It's a common problem.

Are there any long tubes that don't have this problem?

Yes Kooks. They're listed as longtubes but are really a mid length header. No o2 placement issues with those.
