I made a post about this in the general. I just looked at my alignment print out sheet they gave me and it had the before and after measurements. The current measurements are different. Why would that be?

Because the rack affects the alignment. Since it steers the car, (and holds the front end together) that's where alignment is set.

Alignment is not an exact thing; you can change alignment based on what you want the car to do, as well as personal preference. These cars come out of the factory with a generic alignment; various technicians will set alignment differently, and evidently the guy who checked yours liked to set it a different way.

If I were you, I'd go to a real good alignment guy and tell him about how you drive your car and how you'd like it to behave, and they can teach you more and possibly even adjust the alignment to your personal preference. I know a guy who builds race cars and he will discuss different set ups for hours. I understand most of it, but some of it appears to be witchcraft.
