MT-82 Input Shaft Bearing R&R (+ clutch & flywheel)
My input shaft bearing is starting to get pretty loud, it'll need to be replaced pretty soon. Clutch and flywheel need to be done so as well so might as well tackle both.
Curious to know how the input shaft bearing comes off. Is there a good service manual available that isn't super expensive? Mostly needing to see what tools I'll need before I start. Should've planned this for summer when I could just ride my bikes into work...
Also open to suggestions on a clutch assembly and solid flywheels. I HATE the dual mass flywheel it's garbage and vibrates too much. Probably going to stick a solid steel one in. Wouldn't mind a lighter one but don't want to go too ridiculous... I worry aluminum will hurt its street manners. No idea where to start on the clutch, I'd like better pedal feel but it's a stock motor so I don't need anything heavy duty. I'll pay for quality but don't need a racing clutch, even if I do a couple track days here and there.
2014 V6 perf pack model.
