Mis-Aligned Fuel Filler Door

Does anyone know how to adjust an misaligned fuel filler Door? Mine is out of alignment from the factory on my 2013. I can't see anywhere to do it from the trunk. The only other option is to remove the rear wheel and inside well cover. Is this a major project?

Just tighten the bolts on the inside. The filler door comes off. I bet one is loose.

I installed a new door and found the stock one very easy to work on. Just open the door and look inside (around the inside edge) or feel inside for the nuts that hold it to the car. You can loosen all of them and adjust the door and then retighten.

Figure one shows the opening with the door removed, and shows the holes where the bolts attach. Paragraph 2, talks about removing the door, and where the bolts are located.

Hope this helps.
