I think that's the first I've heard of that. How many miles on it? Front or rear?

I had to have my transmission vent tube replaced. maybe when they get into it that is what it will be. not sure if you had a service tech check it or and oils service tech guy check it. you should be under warranty

Just the service guys at a local quick lube kind of place. I suspect the guys at Jim Burke Ford will locate and fix the problem whatever the case. I will post results when I know something.

Not that it's relevant but I had the same thing happen to my F 250 two weeks after I bought it. It might be a Ford thing

Hey eric n,

Definitely bring your vehicle in to your Ford dealer and have them check it out. Your Service Manager is in the best position to assist with this. Let me know the outcome.

Guys at Jim Burke (Great service ALWAYS) took a look and surmised that, "Yes, it's the main seal." Have necessary parts ordered and I have an appointment for Monday morning. Leak isn't bad, so I should be fine until monday's appointment. They are fixing it under warranty and are moving on it quickly. Said I should have my car back Monday PM or Tues at the latest.

The leak is kind of annoying for a 2 year old car, but the can't fault the service.
