Intermitant Driveline Vibration

I took delivery of my 2014 MCA Performance Package, manual, 10 months ago. It has 14,000 miles now. Love the car. From the beginning I get a pretty healthy intermittent vibration on deceleration in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th between 3000 and 2000 rpm. I can feel it in the shifter and in the seat. Had the service manager drive the car, it did it for him. He said it was new to him and would research. I have not been back yet. I suspect the clutch. Newton's ideas on physics did not like vibrations. Any ideas or a reference.

Sorry answered this on the other post you made as well, but i believe it is the dual mass flywheel they used in the manual v6's, mine has done it since day one and there are some other threads out there where I found this out....

Any discussion points of a repair or do we wait for the clutch disc and input shaft splines to ware out? Thanks for the reply.

Take it back for your vibration under warranty as soon as possible. Clutch wear isn't covered under warranty.

Took mine in the other day and the service manager rode with me. Did not do it while we were out but when we got back he looked for a TSB on it, not one, and all he found was that Ford new about it but considered it normal operation

Someday all dealerships will change that standard warranty control response to;

We consider all our defects to be normal operation while under warranty.
