Patrick, when I picked up my car, the first things I checked were the hood and trunk. There were areas where it looked like it was bubbling to me, and I had Brian and my salesman document it in their file, so it was on record from day 1. I haven't looked at them lately, 5100 miles later, but I'm going to check again this weekend.
A more pressing matter for me, is the fricken CREAK that my Glass Roof has developed. It's popping and pinging over any slight undulation or bump in the road and it's driving me nuts. It started about a month ago, with a slight crackle, which I thought might be from the new suspension...however it has progressed and it's clearly coming from the structure of the creaking and flexing around the Glass Roof. I am NOT looking forward to that dealership trip. If you recall, there is no dealership in my area that I trust. That is why I flew 1,000 miles up to Brian's dealership to buy my car, even though we have 3 Ford Stores within 25 miles of us.
It's really disappointing to have a $45k 5100 mile rattle trap, that has just as much creaks and rattles as my 105k mile 2003 GT...
If my hood flakes, I'm either going to have the entire hood stripped, sanded, and clearcoat the bare aluminum or I'm just going to get the Cervini's hood that I've been wanting.

I actually bought the car used with 6k mikes on it and did a ridiculously thorough walk over when I purchased it. It took 6 hours to seal my sale that day. Ray Skillman is by far the most superior dealership ever in helping me get to where I was comfortable to make such a pricey purchase.
Also, I was digging through paper work last night and realized that the car has the ford certified pre owned warranty in addition to what's left on the original warranty. That's good I think.
Hopefully. I'll hear something soon.

The 115 point inspection that goes with the CPO warranty doesn't have any points of inspection or certification relating to corossion, paint, or other cosmetic issues. Sorry, your best bet is still the original warranty since you still have one in effect, and your refusal to accept NO as the answer.

Well I got her shined up for Cars and Coffee tomorrow morning.
Sadly, I found a new "Cherry Blossom" blister today.
"She was a purdy girl until she opened her mouth."

Update: the car is scheduled to go in on the 21st next week for Ford approved repair.
I will keep everyone posted. I'm not sure if they are repainting or replacing. More as it comes...
Many thanks to Deysha.

Took the car in and they are repairing the hood. I.e. Just sandblasting and painting the corroded spots.
Sadly, I know this is just a temporary fix. I'm very disappointed that the dealership wouldn't even hear me out about replacing the hood.
Worst of all, The dealership was ugly to me and and expressed that they (or Ford) couldn't care less about the problem of corrosion reoccurring after repair. I'm sick and tired of being treated like crap everytime I go to that dealership. I'm forced to deal with it because of my location. If it was t for Deshya, I wouldn't even have made it to a "repair" status.
No one deserves to be treated like crap when they call you it on a defective product. Told me that they don't care what I think. So ugly.
Guys, I probably won't be posting that much here anymore. After 15 years of loyalty and 4 Mustangs, 1 Fusion, 1 Escape, my numerous referrals for actual sales... I'm done.

Warranty Service manager: Brett
I'm actually walking home right now I'm so upset.
Btw, Brett, actually confirmed everyone's suspicions:
He said "This is a temporary fix but you'll be out of a warranty by the time the corrosion comes back." "Not our problem then bud, now get out of my face."
