Drivers Door Lock

Hey all new to the community needing a little help. Just purchased a '13 GT and I have to either press the unlock button twice or once and pull the handle twice. Does anybody have any insight on this?

Take it back to the dealer and have them figure that out. Sounds like a bad switch or actuator or such. It's under warranty after all, right?

Damnit! I was really hoping it was a stupid setting that I need to honk the horn 5 times turn the lights on 8 times and buckle the seat belt 18 times in 34 seconds haha.

Thanks!

90% chance it's the remote. Do both remotes have the same problem? There was a thread about them dying within months of purchase. I had one of my remotes replaced after 2 months.

Fixed the issue, no shop visit needed. What I had to do is is press the unlock and lock buttons on the remote for 5 seconds or so to turn off the two stage unlock. Had to do this twice to de-activate it. Pain the richard.
