Yes, thanks and I will update to the sight. Hope to get in sometime next week although I'd afraid SOP is that Ford is aware, no recommendation has been made for a fix and I will be sent on my merry way. I too stpolo can get it to do it just about anytime I want, I also try to avoid the situation by shifting and throttle control. I haven't had the car long, really like it but admit I dismissed it at first during initial test drives as something else. I can and will obviously live with it, my concern is long term and how long term a fix may eventually come after our power train warranties vanish. I trust FORD know whats going on and will do what they have to do.

jetgt,
Thanks for your input on our common problems. It's been a year since my last comment. 500 shy of 30,000 miles today. About a quarter left on the original Pirellis, I have the "grown" in the front control arm bushings as mentioned else where that I'll have to address. Still have the decreased vibration in the shifter from the duel mass clutch since replacing the shifter bracket. Still have not seen any ownership or explanation from Ford on that subject. I hope Henry's cousin made out on the supply contract on the "piecer" clutch for the V6's. Has anybody heard if Ford used the duel mass clutch in the new model Mustang? The throwout bearing is holding up.
Took a solo road trip from Boise to Reno and back for the Western Regional Intercollegiate Boxing Championships last month. 28.2 mpg round trip at 5 over posted. The Recaro's are great. The engine likes Mobile 1 Extended 5W30, three or four oz's in the catch can at 5000 mile oil change. Still bugged about the clutch, drive shaft, and speed limiter....Terry
