Couple Questions

Just a couple of questions guys. Does Ford send out a review for their service department everytime you get service/warranty work? Just been to the dealer multiple times for the same problem on my 2013 GT for two issues it's taken 4 trips to get a stereo replaced, and now it's the sway bar end links. When I told them there was a noise in the rear, the service advisor was pretty rude and denied there was a problem initially, but when I brought it back to have the radio replaced (2nd trip) they found it without an apology to her rudeness. Now when I went to look at the sway bar, I noticed that the axle vent (tsb) is leaking. The pony projection from the mirror looks like it's tearing and the leather is wearing really weird. Where there are creases in the leather, the color is actually gone and white is showing through. This is the 3rd Ford my wife and I have owned, and it's a great car with a couple little issues. It's just my experience with this dealer is so unlike my experience with the last Ford dealer we had. I am disappointed that there are no loaners offered at all according to the dealer. I know it's easy to tell someone to go to another dealer, but there is only one in Rockford, and it's only 5 blocks from my house. Blah, I'm just venting I guess, I really miss Best Ford in Milwaukee, where we had the absolutely best experiences with their service department and now we have to deal with Anderson Ford in Rockford and it's just 180 degrees different from what we've come to expect from a Ford dealer.

I, and what I am sure of are many others, feel your pain. Between dealers not wanting to take the time to trouble shoot, just plain not wanting to work on, not taking care of a customers car, the lack of knowledge and unwillingness to learn about a specific model/option(s) and/or the "don't bother me", "just don't care" attitude, finding a good dealer service dept is rough. I can't forget that many dealers closed as well, putting even more limitations on our choices.

I have read some posts, in other threads, stating that one needs to have a good working relationship with their dealer. How is that possible when that relationship starts with them, the dealer, that many of us are having issues with ?

Sorry, if you can't tell, I too am in need of warranty work and am having issues trying to get it resolved.
