Clutch Pedal Squeak

Clutch Pedal Squeak
In case anybody else hears a squeak when they let their clutch out I found the culprit...
Somehow the dealer couldn't locate this little guy..even after three different appointments. Each time they said they did fix it, but low and behold it was still there when I picked the car up. But i digress..
This is a photo showing most of the clutch assembly.
The squeak was coming from this little plastic piece rubbing on the rubber insert. A little bit of grease on the end seemed to cure it for now...

Good info.
FWIW, It took me awhile to figure out what part of the first picture the second picture corresponds to. The red plastic part in the second picture is slightly to the left of center near the top of the first picture.

That is probably the Neutral Safety Switch.

They are keeping mine today and I should be able to pick it up tomorrow for the creaky pedal. Mine is because of zero grease in the spring/shaft on the back of the pedal. They looked at another 2012 gt built a couple weeks before mine and it was packed full. Mine is dry as a bone. Service is great at Mike Raisor Ford. Had to initially take the car in because the trim was not seated on the bottom passenger side of the windshield. It was pushed out from the urethane, so they had to have the autoglass guy remove the windshield and re-set the glass. He did a good job as well. Got a loaner for the night because the windshield was an approved repair. We had to send two sets of pictures of the windshield after the originals along with the odometer at 300 miles did not show that it was the original windshield, so I had to bring it back in to the dealer to take more pictures. The dealer service is great, Ford is the only PITA in the process.
