I was cruising down to the beach and I was in traffic between 4-5th gear and I went for 5th and had a HORRIBLE grind and it bounced the stalk back at me, I figured maybe I didn't get the clutch all the way down and tried again and same thing. I rev matched it and it went it so I assume the synchronize went. I dropped the car off at Ford this morning and I am awaiting the news of what I KNOW broke....

I wonder if they will try and get away from warranting the car...

This is my 2nd trans, the first one failed hard 2 years ago, it went in for a TSB on the trans and 2 days later let go and they put a whole new trans in the car.

Kind of going back and forth with Ford on who will eat the cost.

My tune caused the 5th gear synchronizer to fail

You know, from all that increased line pressure in my manual transmission for those hard shifts!

Anyway, I have no clue what the status on the car is, I hope the dealership it's in catches fire and burns that heap to the ground so I can get a check and wait for the 15's to show up.

(this is a joke, incase the dealer DOES catch on fire )
