Yep, just saw that on the news.
My car is already 11-1/2 years old (built Nov. 2004). It will be 20 years old before I get the airbags replaced the way this recall is going!!!

so now there is an urgent warning that owners of certain Honda's, should take the cars off the road due to danger of air bag. They are all older models. Seems odd the stink being made about Volkswagen fudging numbers on pollution output, but nothing legal yet on airbags that have literally killed people.

Wondering what car manufacturers are using for air bags since the Takata problem was discovered years ago...... hmmmmm.

I got a new 2014 model Mustang from official dealer and still am waiting for airbag replacement (field action service). I have it for almost two years now. There is no one to complain for it to, as i am in Dubai. When i was buying the car no one mentioned it to me, i had to find it out by myself when i logged in at Ford owners website.

It is a whole bunch of manufacturers on this recall. This is not just a Ford thing. The parts are starting to show up now, so it should not be too long. Got mine done in early November, just before I put it way for the winter.

Just saw that Takata pleaded guilty to Fraud over this case...
