Hey guys, a little back story on my car. I did an engine swap on my car, went from 3.7 to 5.0. I brought a 5.0 Manual donor from somebody in town, swapped everything over onto my 3.7 at the time. I purchased an automatic transmission kit from eBay to go into my car. I swapped everything I could think of:

• Suspension setup (Shocks n Struts & Springs)
• Driveshaft (Came with Auto Trans Kit)
• Engine
• Wiring (Engine Harness and Transmission Harness)
• Rear Axle Setup (Took it from 5.0 Donor)
• 5.0 Donor Key Setup (Cylinder, Transceiver, Original Key)
• Cluster

Now, I recently sent over the Automatic ECU sent off to Garrett Tuning to get a PATs delete done. Got it back, car cranks up but it acts like it want to die while on idle. I press on the gas pedal but get no response at all. Check for code, "P2112 - Throttle Actuator Control System Stuck Closed". So I purchase a new Throttle Body from eBay to test it out and it still doesn't work. No response to the pedal and the code stays the same. Is there anything I can do before I send it to Ford to get it fixed.

 

I recommend having Garrett Tuning re-check your ECM and bring them up to speed with your "P2112- Throttle Actuator Control System Codes... More than likely the code is related to a tuning issue...
