2014 Mustang automatic transmission

I recently purchased my 2014 mustang and just rolled over 2000 miles. On occasion I will be driving down the road, usually at about 35 to 40 MPH, and all of the sudden it feels like my car just looses power. I can press on the gas and nothing. When I tap the breaks it grinds as though the anti lock breaks are enacted. The times this has happened it sounds as though I am dragging something underneath the car. It has happen numerous times and is scary. Has anyone else experienced this?

No. My 14 GT has an automatic transmission and does not do this.

I have a 2014 Deep Impact Blue v6 auto with 5k miles on it, no issues with it.
Kind of wish the "sport" mode would make it shift firmer and faster between gears however.

I have a 2013 GT auto, and 10K miles, no issues for me. I would get it checked out if I were you. Maybe also check in with Deysha when you go and see a dealer.

My 2014 V6 automatic has over 19K miles on it. The only problem I have had was the SelectShift switch failed and had to be replaced. Definitely take it to your dealer and DO get Deysha in the loop. Good luck.

Hello kimstinnett@tx.rr.com,
