2013 Bumper fit issue
I went by a dealer today to see the GHIG in person, to hold me over til my car comes in...It was a Boss and spectacularly beautiful. The dealer is not charging an ADM and I am not considering just going for it however there was two flaws. The worst one was that on the driver side, the front bumper did not seem to align properly with the fender. Its not a crazy distance off, but its enough where it will bother me....Anyone have any issues with something like this on their car and can it be fixed or adjusted easily?
The second thing was the small section of stripe above the grille is bubbling and I assume this is due to the same stripe issue holding up the rest of the Bosses, therefore I assume Ford will warranty and fix it.
I know, I should have taken pics and I'll call the salesman tomorrow to send me a pic...I completely spaced out

these cars are mass produced as quickly as FoMoCo can bang them out, panel/bumper alignment is never going to be perfect. However, plastic bumpers that dont line up just quite exactly right, can be fixed. It's plastic! you can heat it up and bend it!
as far as paint matching, not much you can do there.
My Kona Blue '12 GT has (almost) perfect panel alignment and paint matching. Bumper to fener fitment is spot on, but there's a little bit of mis-alignment around the headlight. I'm okay with it. Nitpick upon delivery, and issues will get fixed. Just be sure it gets taken care of before you sign the papers

2013 Black mustangGT/Premium. My drivers side front edge of quarter panel does not line up with the left front edge of the engine bay hood. The hood sits quite a bit lower than the quarter panel as compared to the left side which lines up perfectly. It bothers me every time I look at it, but it's too late since I have the car 6 weeks already and only noticed it a few weeks after I took delivery. I noticed, when I first detailed my car after waiting a few weeks in case the paint needed more time to cure from custom ordered factory GT. The car was delivered only 11 days after build date.
I'm bringing car in to body shop for some bumper repair and paint work. Maybe they can do minor adjustment to fix alignment for no/little charge. I will also ask if they can remedy the unsightly factory license plate bracket centering holes/dimples and make them disappear. You can easily see them on the black car.
