2011 Gt having issues with Pats /Found Issue Water Intrusion in SJB

I have a 2011 gt and been having issues the last couple of days with pats. It will start up first thing but when I get to where I'm going and shut it off, it will not start back (flashing theft light). I can let it sit for about 20 minutes or so and it will start or the pats light quits flashing. I noticed tonight that I can unhook the battery go back in the car and put key in, put it to the start position, then go hook the battery back up, go back in car and it will start but soon as I turn it off it won't start back up(flashing theft light). I done this a total of five times in a row and it done this every time. I have tried both keys that I have and one of them is a brand new ford key. The dtc's I have are B10D7-87, B10D7-8F, and B10D5-13. I also have tire pressure sensor fault but I just had brand new wheels and tires put on a couple of days ago, don't know if this has anything to do with what is going on or not. Any help will be greatly appreciated thank you!

Here Are Codes & Shop Manual Section !

Looking Like Tranciever So Far!

I Would Advise Getting the TPMS Sensors Out of The Mix! Won't Hurt!

I pulled out the SJB and found this, could this be causing issues? Can I clean this and reinstall it? What to use if I clean it (electronic contact cleaner)?

Ok Looks Like Water Intrusion! Pretty Common. Clean Well With Electrical Contact Cleaner and Let Dry Well. Hope For The Best! Good Time To Check Cowl Drains as Well! We Have Seen Rats Chew The Wires as Well For Some of These Gremlins!

I Like This Cleaner!

I got the sjb pulled out and cleaned it with some contact cleaner and put some dielectric grease on it. I have drove all over the place today and never had any issues with it. I really think this took care of the issues. I'm going to take it tomorrow to hook scanner up and erase the codes. Thank you for all your help!!

Outstanding! Glad To Hear!

Just Make Sure and Check For Water Leaks So It Don't Happen Again! I Just Got Through Putting Stickies on A Bunch of Water Leak Threads! Very Popular! Too Popular Sad To Say!

A Ton in the 05-09 Repair Section! And I am Still Searching For More to Have in One Place Per Year Spread!

Again Very good To hear and Your Thread Will Help the Next Guy For Sure! Closure is Great as Some Will Come in For Help and Disappear! Appreciate the Follow Up Very Much!

I forgot to ask you but can you buy just the weather stripping that goes to the Cowl Vent Panel or do you have to replace the whole thing? I seem to not find anything when I was looking.

The Strip is More of a Leaf Seal Than a Water Seal. It Is Not Available By itself But Comes With New Cowl. But I Think Some Bulk Door Edge Moulding Would Work Well. Let Me See if I Can Find What I am Talking About. Here is Cowls Though!

https://www.fordpartsgiant.com/parts...?pnc=%3C018A16

This Stuff is Cheap and Should Work Well if You Match to What You Have.

You Can Also Get the Packaged Door Edge Gaurds Which Have Adhesive inside at the Local Parts Houses Fairly Cheap! Look Like Above But Have a Glue Inside.

Worth a Little Effort! I Used to get Them at the Local Orielly's I Found a Box But I Guess They are So Old Even the Barcode Won't Come Up! Time Flies!

Good Luck!

If You Find Something Good Do A Post with a Part Number So The Next Guy Don't Have to Buy Those Spendy Cowls!
